All Mary for Nails, etc. services are enhanced with aromatherapy. You are greeted upon arrival by pleasant scents that encourage a relaxed mood. Beethoven, Mozart, Sinatra, and even Glen Miller's big band sound play softly in the background as your personalized manicure begins.

First I softly file the nails, conforming the shape of the nail to each fingertip. I then soften and push back the cuticles, following this with a thorough aromatherapy massage of each hand and wrist. The scents differ each week. The massage activates the blood, improving circulation. It also moisturizes the skin while stimulating healthy nail growth. Afterwards, I soak the nails and cuticles in a conditioning, bubbling nail spa. This procedure adds moisture back into the skin and nails making them flexible, not brittle. For those who prefer I can perform an optional exfoliating manicure including a grapeseed oil hand and nail treatment. Finally I spray your hands with rose water and remove all oil residue from the surface of the nails which are now ready for polish.

For men and women who don't use polish, I employ a three-step buffing system which imparts a natural shine that lasts up to a week or more. Another very popular specialty of mine is the elegant French manicure.

At Mary for Nails, etc. I also provide a manicure with all nail enhancements, including my specialties which are silk wraps and tips. The unique technique I have invented provides a durable and natural looking nail, designed to maintain the maximum health of your own nail underneath the nail enhancements. If chips or tears occur I can make one or two repairs, and your manicure of each nail will again appear even and natural looking. You can maintain the durability of polish and your nails with silk wraps alone.

To ensure you can continue good nail care at home, I have a professional vanity of moisturizing creme and shower gels and body salt scrub, as well as the entire line of nail polishes of various brands, nail strengtheners, and nail care products.
